He has spent most of his life in the Skagit Valley and the surrounding region, deeply connected to its landscapes, waterways, and communities. His work explores the intersection of rugged mountains, wildlife, and human presence, capturing the ways nature and culture converge across the North Cascades, Skagit Valley, and Puget Sound. Through photography, video, and writing, Gabriel invites viewers to engage with the living world, fostering curiosity, reflection, and a deeper connection to the Pacific Northwest’s wild places.
